    I do not know if this is a Theme issue or a SEO issue that must be fixed or if it can be left alone.

    When I test my sites with Virtue theme on: Google test

    I get this error Google does not recognize the property mainContentOfPage for an object of type WebSite

    Anyone know whats up with that and/or if someting should be changed?

    I use All in one SEO plugin togheter with Virtue theme

    I’m not an SEO expert by any means, but I’m sure you’re fine. The theme developer will let us know when he sees this, but in the meantime, I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you.

    Your looking at your structured data, so are you trying to get into googles news feed? What are you trying to do with the structured data?

    Are you using a structured data plugin.

    I just found this page https://moz.com/blog/meta-data-templates-123

    And there its alot about meta data. Then in the end of the article its a Google meta test.

    When I run my pages I get errors at the above and also on some articles meta on: http://goteborgsmagiskaklubb.se/

    I still dont know if this is important for the way Google crawls the sites or if this is a conflict with “All in One SEO” plugin but they told me that this specific tag is in the theme. (mainContentOfPage)

    But I still havent learned enough if this is important or if it can be left as is.

    It is in the theme that tag is because it’s defined by schema.
    If you want it to mean more to google for google to pick up your page as like a news article in there news feed you would use a plugin to do so. Other wise you can ignore since it’s only being used by google to determine if your content should be in a different kind of search result.

    Thanks for the information.

    After some reading in the subject and your clarification I now understand that this can be used by Google for advanced sites meta tags and that I can ignore the “error” since i havent the need for this.

    Im happy with that plugins can solve this if its interresting for some sites.
