    Hi,

i installed wordpress into my root domain.
my theme’s index.php is largely the code for 2 rotating images (plus usual header and footers) which is cool as an homepage.

then i tried making my blog section (created blog page), hoping that my posts can be showed there (went to settings/reading to choose static page and blog page) but the problem i encountered was, if i chose for example the ‘about’ page as the static page the 2 rotating images are gone. instead i get the page template.
and the blog turns up with the rotating images without my blog posts :/

i tried putting the looping section of my page.php code into index.php and took out the code for the 2 rotating images. yes i got my blog but of course that means my 2 rotating images are no longer visible.

so, what i want to achieve is.
    1) homepage to be the 2 rotating images (and not the current page.php)
    2) blog page to have blog posts

    can anyone help?
    cheers
