    Hi there

    Just installed and created a wordpress network setup on my existing WP installation.

    But now the permalink structure is kinda screwed.

    Before my links was like sitename.com/2012/03/04/name_on_post/

    But now my main site insists on use sitename.com/blog/2012/03/04/name_on_post/

    When I try to enter a url to an old post using the old permalink structure, my site puts in /blog/ in the url.

    Why? And how do I change it back, so my old permalinks works?

    Thanks,
    Kenneth

  • Fixed!

    Edited the permalink structure to be identical at;

    sitename.com/wp-admin/network/site-settings.php?id=1
    sitename.com/wp-admin/options-permalink.php

    .. and checked that it was identical with the value in ‘permalink_structure’ field in the database table wp_options

    Yes, this is a known issue. If you resave your permalinks, it’ll switch back.

    The plan is to make that editable, but it’s done that way to prevent collisions with blogs in your subdirectory install.
