[resolved] Main Page Display Question (6 posts)

    I'm new to WordPress. I have it installed and running and I've downloaded a theme that I like.

    On the main page it displays the first post in its entirety and the first few lines of subsequent posts minus images.

    I would like to have it display the posts in their entirety, including images.

    Is this specific to the theme I'm using or is there a setting to change?

    I've looked but can't find it.

    Thanks.

    Might want to look at Template_Tags/the_content and see if that is used in your theme's index.php file.

    `<?php
    if ( is_home() || is_single() || is_page() AND $loopcounter <= 1 ) {
    the_content(__('(more...)'));
    }
    else {
    the_excerpt();
    }
    ?>

    That is in there. Should I remove that to solve the issue?

    Sounds like all you want is:

    <?php
    the_content();
    ?>
