# Main Navigation Stopped Working?

 * Hi everyone. Thank you for helping in advance.
 * I’m not entirely sure exactly when or where I was when the main navigation menu
   stopped directing me to the pages when you click on them, but now, it just refreshes
   the main page. Obviously unnacceptable.
 * I’m totally lost for words, and I have no idea how to fix this.
 * The only two things that I think MIGHT have caused this, (which have since been
   reset to when it worked properly, to no success)
    Playing withe the page child
   vs parent attributes Changing the permalink settings.
 * I don’t even know how to diagnose this issue, let alone fix it.
