    Hello,

    I’ve been trying to work out how to change my main nav menu transparent. I found another forum post discussing this here, but there wasn’t a solution in the thread. Can I get some assistance?

    Thanks!

    This CSS should work

    .site-header {
        background-color: transparent;
    }
    .header-top {
        background: transparent;
    }

    Looks like you put that gray background around the menu nav links though? Not sure if you still want that with the nav now being transparent.

    yeah, actually need to remove the gray boxes too. The aim is to just have the nav text over the background image without a solid color background.

    .main-navigation ul {
        background: none;
    }

    .main-navigation ul li.current_page_item a {
        background: none;
    }

    Try that along with what I gave you already, should work I believe.

    Nearly there. I published with your changes, but I’m still seeing a dark grey background across the top of the page behind the nav.

    Ah, I assume you want the image to show up “behind” the navigation menu?

    Try this out

    @media screen and (min-width: 60em) {
        .lodestar-front-page .custom-header {
            margin-top: -85px !important;
        }
    }

    That appears to have done the trick. Thanks for the help!
