MailToRecipients hook… please?

We have a content filter that has the ability to block words from being posted. So far I have been able to incorporate the filter into blog posts sent in via postie with one exception: The success email.

It doesn’t look like I’m able to hook in to stop the “Successfully posted…” email from being sent when the content filter blocks a post. The only hook available is the wp_mail filter, and that doesn’t even give me the ability to stop the email altogether (which is our desired behavior).

Is there any chance you could add an action or filter that would allow a plugin to abort certain emails being sent out from Postie?
