• I have tried a lot, but the Mails are not being sent to the given emails. Not sure if SMTP configuration is correct or not, because I dont know how to test it either. Why has wordpress made it so tough to send mails anyways?

    Hi rohitkumar93,

If your emails are not being delivered then it is highly possible that your mail server for your host is not configured properly. All of the plugins for WordPress uses WordPress mail function to send email, so if the email is not being delivered because of wrongly configured mail service, we can do nothing on that. You need to fix that first. In that case, not only ours but none of the other plugins will work.

Also, make sure the plugin emails settings are configured correctly. If you need help on that then please do let us know.

We request you to check this troubleshooting steps for the email issue https://docs.wpeverest.com/docs/everest-forms/troubleshooting/emails-are-not-being-delivered/

You can install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/ to test whether your WordPress installation is able to send email or not. If the test email is received correctly then it means your mail server is fine, if not then your mail server has issues. You can contact us here if you need more help https://wpeverest.com/contact/

Since the issue might be because of your host mail server and the plugin we would really appreciate if you could update the rating and contact us directly for the help.

    Thanks
    WPEverest

    Hello @rohitkumar93,

I replicated this issue while debugging in one of our user’s site which is hosted in Godaddy server. The reason behind the scene was emailing subject as he was using the email subject “Website Enquiry” and that kind of word in email subject was the culprit and email was not delivered.

If anyone has faced this issue then please try to change the email subject and this will be no more an issue, my friend 🙂

    Regards,
    Shiva Poudel
