• I’m helping a client migrating from MailPoet2 to MailPoet3, but after changing to MP3, subscribers are not added to the list, and the new welcome emails that we have designed and activated are not arriving.

I have followed all steps in your tutorials for the migration, and have the latest version of the plugin (Version 3.51.1).

As you can see from the screenshots in these links (API Connection + Form Connection), MailPoet3 is connected, and in the ThriveLeads form it’s also connected to the correct list.

When I change back to MailPoet2, everything works again (using the same ThriveLeads form).

I would very much appreciate any help you can give us.

    Cheers,
    Vibeke

  • Hi @vibeque,

Can you please go to MailPoet > Forms > edit your form (any form) and check if you have any custom field created and set as mandatory?

If you do, even if the field is not added to the form and you’re not using the MailPoet form, you need to remove it or set it as non-mandatory.

    Let us know.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your reply. I have removed any custom field that was set as required (some of the forms had a GDPR tickbox), and I set those fields to ‘not mandatory’, and double checked everything.

It still doesn’t work, so here a video what I’ve been doing so far, so that you can see if I’m missing any steps:

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Hello @wysija,

Would you be able to have a look into the video I linked to above, to poteltially see what causes the problems we have with MailPoet3?

    Many thanks,
    Vibeke
