 * Hi,
 * I have a problem with installing mailpoet, I get an error concerning access to
   the wp-content/uploads folder. I searched for a solution and found the info concerning
   setting the access right to 777…
   But no luck.Looking at my configuration i see
   that we store our media files in a completly different folder, not within public_html.
   It seems like a lot of work to change our media folder to “uploads” and to handle
   all the broken links to all our media.Is there some other way to solve this?Best
   regardsAnders

 * Hi there [@mjolkon](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mjolkon/),
 * Thanks for reaching out and I apologize for the late reply.
 * I saw that following these steps solved it for some users with a similar error(“
   MailPoet requires write permissions inside the /wp-content/uploads folder.”):

 * Your hosting company should also be able to help you with the correct configuration
   of your custom Uploads folder.
