    Hi,
    I found this guide https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/258-re-installing-updating-the-plugin-via-ftp
    One more question about it.
So i need to do the following
    1) download the zip and unpack it localy
    2) deactivated the plugin in wordpress
    3) go via ftp to my plugin directory and delete mailpoet directory
    4) move the local mailpoet folder to the plugin directory on the server
    5) activate the plugin
    is above correct?
    Regards,
    Marco

    Hi,
Installed the plugin via ftp but the error is still there:
It seems there is a problem with some of the PHP files on your site that is causing MailPoet to not function properly

I already checked my themes directory and can’t find an empty line in there. Is there any way how i can find this easy?

    Hi @marco37

Which version of PHP do you have installed on your server/website?

    Hi!

Alright, thanks for the information. Could you also enable WP_DEBUG in your site? That way you can generate a log with all the PHP errors – it’s hard to know what could be triggering the alert without seeing the actual error.

You can learn how to enable WP DEBUG here:

@dromero20 : tnx, debug was something i wanted to turn on, but on a live website? Bit hard to do. Hmmm let me check the website. I believe it should be possible to log the errors to a file…..

Have tried to setup a localwp test instance but on windows mailpoet is not working at all…. rest of the plugin are working… so i need to see…

    Hi @marco37,

Can you please check with your host you have all the required PHP extensions we mention here? https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/152-minimum-requirements-for-mailpoet-3#php_extension

MailPoet 3 requires the following PHP extensions to be installed and loaded on your web server: PDO, PDO_MYSQL, XML and ZIP. We also recommend installing the mbstring extension.
