I recently had GoDaddy move a WP site from regular hosting to WP hosting. When I went to upload, I got the following three errors:

MailPoet Error: MailPoet requires write permissions inside the /wp-content/uploads folder. Please read our instructions on how to resolve this issue.

The Page “Calendar” uses the “/calendar” slug: the Events Calendar plugin will show its calendar in place of the page.

Failed to render template “newsletters.html”. Please ensure the template cache folder “/home/*old_user_name*/public_html/wp-content/uploads/mailpoet/cache” exists and has write permissions. Terminated with error: “Unable to create the cache directory (/home/*old_user_name*/public_html/wp-content/uploads/mailpoet/cache/11).”

Here’s what I’ve done so far:
    * Checked everything on this help page and several others: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/152-minimum-requirements-for-mailpoet-3#folder_permissions
    * Followed the instructions in the video on the above page
    * Checked with GoDaddy that all permissions are correct, PHP is installed, etc.
    * Uninstalled and reinstalled MailPoet 2 and MailPoet 3.
    * Searched Google, YouTube, and this site for other inquiries

I think the issue lies with the last error in that MailPoet is looking for a directory structure under the previous site. Is there a way to manually change that directory to the new directory structure? Or is there a way to get MailPoet to refresh the settings to point to the current site?

Many, many thanks for any help you can provide!

    Any help on this?

    Hi @bemorton2020

Please contact us using this link. We’ll need to check your database tables to change that path: https://www.mailpoet.com/support/wordpress-forums/

Hi, I get the same error from last week:
Failed to render template “newsletters.html”. Please ensure the template cache folder “/nas/content/live/…/wp-content/uploads/mailpoet/cache” exists and has write permissions. Terminated with error: “Failed to write cache file “/nas/content/live/…/wp-content/uploads/mailpoet/cache/fb/fb4ba6fe1e13451a84c08a448e37a5540d3bfc27e030db933cdbac740c72cf58.php”.”

We had GoDaddy managed WP hosting. What I discovered is that GoDaddy managed WordPress hosting does not allow you to change any file permissions. And they don’t allow apps to write. We had to change plans to get things to work again.
