    Hi, thanks for any help.

I am using MailPoet and GC Message bar to offer subscriptions for my newsletter. It seems that when someone signs up, they get signed up as a WordPress user and not my site user or subscriber and are not added to my Newsletter subscriber list? I checked all the settings and they appear correct.

I am also getting robots signing up and sign ups from fake email addresses. I had to remove the comments feature because of this and now the subscription message plugin and now had to deactivate my MailPoet plugin. I guess next I’ll have to remove my site contact form.

I have site security running and SSL but still getting bot spammed all the time. Since the newsletter sign up is the only thing left on the site with forms, I’ve removed it from the site. Now only Contact Form 7 is left.

Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks

All is I know is common business rules to go by such as:

No service before the sale always means no service after the sale.

A simple “uninstall” was all it took. No more problem.
