I have a sign up form with several lists. Users can click the lists via checkbox. Each list is a post category on my wordpress site. A, B, C, D, E, etc

I create an ‘A’ newsletter by connecting it to the RSS feed of the post category by creating a newsletter picking an ‘Automatic Newsletter’ and selecting from the list ‘A.’

On the 2nd step I click ‘Edit Automatic latest content’ on the look of the newsletter and select ‘Categories and tags’ picking the ‘A’ option only.

I now have a newsletter that sends new ‘A’ content to users that have subscribed to the ‘A’ listing perfectly.

I then do that process for every list in the checkbox resulting in a newsletter for each listing (one for B, one for C, etc).

The issue is that when a users wants content for A and D, they get one separate newsletter for A, then another separate newsletter for D.

Is there a way to get user specific selected content into one email? Or is my process for setting up the newsletter wrong?

Thanks so much for any help!

  • There isn’t unfortunately. Your process is right. Is just that MailPoet was built in that way and there’s no way to change it.
