Mailpoet messing up my statistics

I installed Mail Poet 3 yesterday, and first off: I loooooove it! Great work guys!

I’m using the free version, so in all fairness, I’m not even looking for you to solve my problem. This is just a “FYI”. The website I’m using this on is just a sandbox, so it’s not important.

I’m using WP statistics to see the statistics. Like I said, it’s a sandbox site, so I’m not expecting any visitors. But I just checked my statistics and it said I had 2048 pageviews today alone! lol After some digging, I found it to be Mailpoet (useragent) that was creating this. I’m not sure how safe it is to send you a printscreen (IP-adresses and such), but it was a list saying “user agent”, having EDGE, MSIE and then 4 instances of “Mail Poet” as user agent.

I was thinking of switching to Google analytics anyway. But just so you know … it is something you might want to check in the next update. 😉
