I have added MailPoet to our site so that post can automatically be emailed to subscribers. However, once we got it all set up then our Gravity Form submissions quit emailing out.

If I deactivate MailPoet then the notification work again. On MailPoet I tried the MailPoet sending option as well as the default WordPress sending option neither allowed my Gravity Form email notifications to be sent out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @ssegepecemta,

Can you please share more details about the problem with us?

Are the users subscribed through the Gravity Form form being added to the MailPoet lists?

Which notifications exactly are you referring to? Please note it’s not possible to have CCed emails when using the MailPoet’s sending method.

Are the other transactional emails sent from your website being sent as expected?

Are you using any SMTP 3rd-party plugin to handle transactional emails?

Gravity forms and MailPoet are using separate lists.

Gravity forms is used for people to submit information. When the information is submitted, depending on the category selected a notification gets sent to an admin to follow up.

With mailpoet we are using its subscribe function throughout the site to gather emails of those who want to receive our news posts. When we submit a news post it automatically gets emailed to those who have filled out the mailpoet subscribe.

When I have mailpoet active, the notifications to admins from Gravity forms are not going out – the website is capturing the message but it is not sending out the notification.

If I deactivate mailpoet then the admin notifications in Gravity Forms work fine.

No, we are not using any SMTP plugins.

Gravity Forms and MailPoet are using separate lists. MailPoet is a group email to subscribers (that receive posts we publish). Gravity forms is basically submitting a contact us form that notifies an admin of the message by email.

    Hi @ssegepecemta,

    Thanks for the clarification.

Can you please confirm if you have set up the MailPoet’s sending method to send your transactional emails in the MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Send all site’s emails with…?

If so, please try changing it to “The default WordPress sending method” and check if the emails are properly sent.

When sending transactional emails with MailPoet’s sending method, an email will be sent to only one To email address, meaning that multiple ones are not supported. Furthermore, the MailPoet sending method does not support CC or BCC.

If these emails included any attachments, that could also be the problem, as we do not support attachments. However, if the “The default WordPress sending method” works for you, then this is the option you should keep selected.

I made the change you suggested and I think that worked. Thank you so much for your help. As soon as we post another news post we’ll confirm that mailpoet is still working but the conflict with gravity forms has been resolved.

    Thanks so much!!!
