• Hello
I have had problems with MailPoet which eventually traced back to use of PHP 7. I strongly suggest that a warning be placed in the linked post to check this first, as it took me a long time to identify the problem.

My issue was that posts were sent out with no links and default fonts. The header logo was missing and the the links to unsubscribe and link to display the web page came out as plain text. A link embedded in the post just disappeared.

It was not a problem with the mail sending function, as the ‘preview’ of the newsletter looked identical to the mails as received.

I tried disabling all plugins and going back to a default theme (TwentyTwelve) but this did not fix the problem. Only after looking into issues around Beta 3 did I think to try changing PHP back to 5.6. This immediately fixed the problem.
