    Hello,
I have recently updated my website from mailpoet 2 to mailpoet3. Lists, subscribers and some other data got imported form mailpoet2 to mailpoet 3. Now, the issue is, when I create a new list and if an existing subscriber form any other list enters his/her data in the form/popup to subsribe to a new list a message appear “This user already exsists”. Breifly, MailPoet3 is not accepting those users/subscribers who were already in subscribers list of mailpoet 2, even in new list it is not accepting and saying “This user already exists.”

  • Hi there @mustafazaidi,

Which plugin are you using for the popup/subscription form? Is it a standard MailPoet subscription form or a third-party form?

    Thanks!

Thank you for the response. I am using Popup by Supsystic for my popups.

Let me elaborate the issue again, with example:
    I have 2 lists in mailpoet 2: List1, List2
List1 has User A, and List 2 has User B
Now I have migrated from Mail Poet 2 to MailPoet 3 with lists, subscribers etc.
Created a new list in MailPoet 3 for new newsletter, let say: List 3
Now User A or User B form List 1 or 2 tries to subscribe to List 3 for new newsletter, but it says: This user already exists

    Hi there @mustafazaidi,

We’ve done some testing here and can confirm the issue. It’s with the use of the API by the third-party plugin, we’ve reached out to them to let them know.

    Thanks!
