    Installed the WPMG plugin, created new group and attempted to add myself/email address to the group.

    Got this message:
    Mailing Group Manager: The email entered already exists in the system.

    How do I add existing WP users a group?

    Well, all I had to do was read a bit further. I imported WP users as instructed.

    Problem resolved. 🙂
