 * Hi there, I’m currently using the Maileroo API and wanted to ask whether it would
   be possible to add Maileroo as an integration in the plugin. Maileroo supports
   both SMTP and API connections.
 * For now, I’ve configured your plugin using SMTP on one of my client’s websites,
   and it is working perfectly.
 * I also have some feedback regarding failed email notifications. When an email
   fails, the notification displayed at the top should include a close button on
   the far right. This would allow users to dismiss the notification after they
   have acknowledged and reviewed the issue.
 * Currently, the failed notification remains visible for around 24 hours (i guess),
   with no option to close it manually. I think users should be able to dismiss
   it once they have checked the failed email or log.
 * Thank you for considering these suggestions.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for both suggestions, they’re in! 😊
 * Maileroo is now available as a provider through their API. You’ll need a Sending
   Key (create one for your domain in the Maileroo dashboard), then pick Maileroo
   in the Settings tab and paste it in. Your SMTP setup keeps working of course,
   so feel free to stay on it, but the API gives clearer error messages when something
   goes wrong (unverified sending domain and such).
 * The failure notice now has a close button. I made the dismissal stick rather
   than just hiding it for one page load: closing it means “I’ve seen those failures”,
   so they won’t come back until a new email fails. That way you can clear it after
   reviewing without going blind to future problems.
 * **Both are in 0.1.5, out now.** I’d love to hear how Maileroo behaves on your
   client’s site.
 * Cheers,
   Jordy.

 * I confirm the Maileroo API things is available. I have added the API key, and
   it worked.
 * I noticed that the past logos are still showing and does not have the close button.
   May be you asked the AI to create the close button and it created the close buttons
   for new failed logs only, not for the old ones. Because i confirm that after
   updating the plugin the old log is still showing on top of the dashboard and
   does not have the close button.

 * I just was speaking with Maileroo team and they asked me to tell you this = “
   We have an affiliate program that they can include in their plugin”.
 * I mean, you should visit their website and do a live chat, and the person will
   help you with that as he asked me to inform you about the same.
 * And one more thing, if possible you can update/mention/edit your plugin page,
   so that you can show the Maileroo on the plugin’s main page + you can give a
   link to their official website too.

 * Hi [@khalsamobileapps](https://wordpress.org/support/users/khalsamobileapps/),
 * Thanks for confirming ✨
 * About the close button, the notice is regenerated on every page load and the
   × is added every time, no matter how old the failed emails are. I tested 0.1.5
   on a clean WordPress 6.0 and the notice appears with the × on the far right.
   Closing it keeps it away until a new email fails.
 * So something on that site is hiding it. Could you check three things?
    1. Does Meow Mailer show 0.1.5 on the Plugins screen? An update can look complete
       while the server still serves old files from its PHP cache (OPcache). A “flush
       cache” or “restart PHP” button from your host usually sorts it.
    2. Do other WordPress notices on that admin have a ×? WordPress adds that button
       with JavaScript, so if another plugin throws a JS error, no notice gets its
       close button. F12 and a look at the Console for red errors will tell you.
    3. If you’re running a caching plugin, or anything that tidies up admin notices,
       try switching it off for a minute.
 * One thing that might confuse things: closing the notice means “I’ve seen these
   failures,” so it stays away until another email fails. If mail is still failing
   it will come back (with the ×, but it will come back). The Logs tab shows what’s
   failing… 🙂
 * Thanks for thinking of me for the affiliate program! I’d rather pass, though.
   Meow Mailer supports 13 providers currently and I want it to stay neutral. If
   I earned money on one of them, my “pick the one you already use” advice wouldn’t
   be honest anymore. Maileroo is already listed on the plugin page among the supported
   providers with a link to their site, and I’m happy to keep it that way.
 * Cheers,
   Jordy.
