MailChimp will work with Jetpack?

    Hi, I’ve read the following answer to a problem that I am facing too.
    But I’d like to understand if MailChimp should run alone (so I will remove the Jetpack subscription feature?) or should I keep both active?
    But if I’ll keep Mailchimp together with Jetpack subscription then my subscribers will receive duplicate mails?
    I’ve just read here that exist a Mailchimp Jetpack Block. I do not know what Jetpack Blocks are for since I am used to add widgets into my right column.
    I am confused. Thanks.

    Jetpack only sends notifications for new posts, not when you update or make an edit to a post. Currently, there’s no way to change that.

    However, you can use a newsletter service like MailChimp (which works with Jetpack) and send daily or weekly newsletters to your subscribers with the updates you’ve made to your existing posts.`

    Hi @passegua

    The Jetpack Subscriptions module, which sends new post notification emails via WordPress.com’s servers for people who sign up to receive them.

    A Mailchimp newsletter is something different, and uses a mailing list to which you manually send email campaigns which you create via the control panel of whatever newsletter service you’re using. New posts aren’t automatically sent out to people who are subscribed to your newsletter, unless you specifically set it up to do that.

    I understood that jetpack send notification only about new posts not when I change or edit old ones.
