Everything works so far, but when I try to add Mailchimp Tags to a form, it shows me an error after I have chosen the tags.

When I edit the integration settings from the form, it shows me the tags I have set in the Mailchimp account. But when I want to click continue, it shows me this message:”There was an issue processing your request. Please reload the page and try again.”

It doesn’t matter how many times I reload the page, it always shows the same message again. I can’t continue, and it doesn’t save it.

The form collects mail addresses and adds them to the Mailchimp audience, but there are no tags added to the contacts.

Anybody an idea where the problem is?

    Hello @yastychef !

    I hope you’re doing well.

Would you be able to check in the browser’s developer tools what happens when you click Continue?

To do this, when on the configuration, please right-click on the page and choose Inspect. A window should popup. Please switch to the Network tab and select the XHR/Fetch filter. Then click on continue. A new request should show up there.

Here’s what this looks like on my browser:

    Omg!

I was literally about to open a support ticket with the EXACT same issue.

I just activated this plugin today.

Great plugin and the popup looks amazing on the front end, but when I try to add tags via the Mailchimp integration, the users are being added to my Mailchimp audience no probs, but the tags are not being triggered or assigned.

Any updates or fixes to this issue please do share.

    Thanks.

    I hope you’re doing well.

Please actually go ahead and open a separate ticket as it will make it easier for us to provide assistance to you with this – when opening it, please describe the issue and add a link here for more context.

If you can, please share the details I mentioned in my previous reply as well.

    Warm regards,

    Hey Pawel,

I followed your instructions and recorded a video.
The Dev-Tools say “There was a critical error on your website” as you can see here on the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBZH0iwZ_TA

The WordPress Site Health tool doesn´t show me any error on the site. So I have no idea what is causing this.

    Thanks

    Hi @yastychef

A critical error will return a debug log, can you please enable the debug mode https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/ take the steps again but this time check the wp-content for any debug.log file?

Upload the log to google drive and share the URL.

Okay, well I found out, that the problem didn´t exist before the last update of the plugin itself. I recreated a backup and did a test. No error 2 weeks ago – Mailchimp tags worked before the last update of the Hustle plugin itself. I did the update again and the error with the tags appears again.

    see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20k5xemkX9o

I guess all of your customers have the problem, but haven´t yet noticed it.

    Hi @yastychef

I tried to replicate on my lab site but it worked fine.

Had you enabled the debug mode in wp-config?

If so, can you verify if the debug.log was generated in wp-content folder following the link that I sent on previous reply? https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/

It won’t fix the issue, only generate a log so we can troubleshoot it.

Let us know the result you got.

Thanks for the help. But I won’t continue caring about the problem, it costs me too much time, and it’s too complicated. I will work without tags for now.
