• Hello,

New blogger here. I am attempting to embed the default MailChimp Subscriber Pop-Up Form which can be configured in MailChimp by following these work instructions.

I have been able to use the code provided by MailChimp to successfully embed the form code within the header.php file of my child Nisarg theme and can obtain the expected results IF the Display Settings -> Popup Trigger selection in the MailChimp form configuration menu is set to “Immediately”, “After 5 Seconds” or “After 20 Seconds”.

However, the form does not present at all when I select any of the remaining three triggers, which are “Scroll to Middle of Page”, “Scroll to End of Page”, and “On Exit”.

I have attempted to use all three available pop-up formats – “Fixed”, “Modal”, and “Slider” – and have obtained these same results with each.

Because I can force the form to show using some trigger conditions but not others, I’ve ruled out any jquery.js or cookie-related issues.

Is this a known issue with the Nisarg theme? Is there anything specific I should look for in any of my .php files that could be preventing the form from triggering based on page scroll percentage or page exit? It seems odd that I can get the form to work based on the first three triggers, but not the last three.

I’d be indebted for any assistance with this! Note that I currently have the form disabled as I do not want visitors to see it after being given just 20 seconds to peruse a page or post.

I am using a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit OS and have replicated this issue in both IE 11 and Mozilla Firefox.
