Support » Plugin: Jetpack by » Mailchimp pop up not working – jetpack

Hello! When I first tried the Mailchimp pop up with jetpack a few months ago it worked, and now it is not.

I’ve made sure to delete cookies and tried incognito windows, I disabled Mailchimp for WordPress, I tried putting the code in the footer area (in a textbox and using jetpack), plus some of the other ideas I’ve scrounged up.

Any help would be SO appreciated! I’ve been scouring and haven’t found any solutions that work yet…

    Thank you!

  • Update – the pop up has now worked twice in incognito mode and once in IE, but only on the “blog” page. Visibility is set to all the pages in my home menu.

    Not sure what’s going on?

Make sure that you specifically followed the guide at

Please keep in mind that it will only appear once per visitor. Once you accept or dismiss it, it’s gone until you clear your cookies.

Hi, thanks for replying James! 🙂

I had checked in with the guide again and everything seems to be in order.

I tried again on my work computer today and the pop up still only worked on the Blog page. I deleted all the visibility settings I made, and still only see the popup on the Blog page. I do always delete all cookies before testing the pop up.

Not sure if that’s happening for you as well?

Does your theme have widget areas outside of the blog page?

    Hey James,

I had tried moving it to a footer widget before to no avail, but just now I disabled jetpack and re-set it up and it’s now working in the footer!

Thanks so much for the suggestion!!
