  • I also don’t like the free mailchimp plugin… When I used it, I add to dig in the plugin code and change the way it presented the forms and add extra CSS, since in the administration there are not that many visual options.
You can add your own css and change a bit the layout, but you’ll have to code a bit. Not easy.
Check the support page for the plugin, there are posts describing similar issues to yours:

Well, I don’t like spending more time to code something, I’m not a programmer.
I would like to have a plugin that adjusts to the width automatically. Can’t be that hard to program… other simple plugins do the same…

Yeah, I understand what you mean. But not that many options for mailchimp out there. Maybe a premium plugin with support would be an option. you could explore that..

    Thanks anyway for your response!
For now I use the free N-Media mailchimp plugin. It works ok and looks much better than the original mailchimp plugin.
Another option is to generate an embed code inside your mailchimp account and put it into a widget that displays html-codes. I use Ad codes widget, it works also great!

I have Ad codes widget. When I add mailchimp embed I see the widget header but no form. Any ideas?

    Hey BenDov,

Sorry for the delay in response. Did you still need assistance?

Ultimately your question may be best answered by the support team for that particular plugin that you’re using (Ad Codes), but I’d be happy to take a look to see if I can determine anything. Can you post a link to your website here that has that widget active and showing the issue that you’re describing?
