Hi @ursula04, thanks for reaching out. Can you enable remote diagnostics in your plugin by going to Mailchimp for WooCommerce in your plugin directory -> Settings -> Settings (tab) -> Remote Diagnostics. Please include the URL of your store and we’ll take a look and see if we can help.

    Thanks!

    Hi @khungate

I have enabled the support and the link to my website is: https://alfiespetacc.co.za/

Just to give you some feedback -after reading all the threads I did reach out to my host and they could not find any error on their side.

Hi @ursula04, would you care to double-check to see if remote diagnostics are enabled? I’m not seeing it clicked on from our side.

    Thanks!

Hi @ursula04, we’re still not able to see your site via Remote Diagnostics so I wanted to drop a note in here about how we’re fixing this issue for others:

When a “Mailchimp for Woocommerce has not added the webhook to Mailchimp,” it could be related to one of three situations.

    – Sometimes a connection between your store and Mailchimp has gone awry. As the first step in troubleshooting, please enable ‘Remote diagnostics’ from the ‘Settings’ tab of the plugin and provide us with your URL. From there, we will attempt to restore the connection.
    – If the first troubleshooting method proves unsuccessful, your hosting provider or firewall might be blocking the “user-agent” header in the verification request to your site. You will need to ensure your server or firewall rules are not blocking this “user-agent” header with a value of “MailChimp.com WebHook Validator.”
    – If the previous two attempts to fix fail, the REST API may be failing. You can check this by appending /wp-json/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/v1 to your store’s URL after logging in as an administrator. If it is failing, you must allow anything coming through /wp-json/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/*.

Please let us know if you’re able to get things resolved with one of the last two options.

Ill keep a lookout on my emails for response from you.

Hi @ursula04, unfortunately, we’re unable to see your store on our end. You’ll want to get with your hosting or firewall provider from here with the above instructions to allow the user-agent header and also double-check the REST API.

I just wanted to check back to see if you’ve been able to work this out with your hosting provider. Let us know when you have a minute.

    Thanks!

    Dear @khungate

Good Morning thank you for following up – I tried to look into this but as im not very familiar with these sort of things I have hit a dead end. I would like to resolve this asap and I want to upgrade my mail chimp for more automations however I can’t until this issue has been fixed. Is there any alternative way that I can get in touch with you to give you access to my platform to check and assist?

    Kind regards,
    Ursula

Hi @ursula04, have you been able to reach out to your hosting provider with the above directives? Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do on our end in this situation. They seem to be blocking our user-agent header, and once that’s fixed, you should be good to go.

Hi @ursula04, we wanted to pass along our Wiki around this situation for the most up-to-date troubleshooting: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/wiki/Webhook-Has-Not-Been-Setup-Error.

Since this is a server-side function with webhooks that needs to be addressed by your hosting provider, we will close this ticket out for now. Rest assured, data will flow from your store to Mailchimp as long as the plugin is activated, and the subscriber status in WooCommerce will always be in sync when viewing the customer profile.

Don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you need help with anything else.
