    Hi there,

    Since yesterday, Minimal Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode plugin fails to fetch Mailchimp mailing lists. Worked just fine for a week. I didn’t make any changes on WordPress dashboard yesterday.
    I did the following:
    – Created a new Mailchimp API Key and update MailChimp API field
    – Unistalled the plugin from within WordPress and installed it back
    – I don’t have any other plugins connected to Mailchimp

    I still get the error: “Error fetching mailing lists. Please make sure that the API key you entered is correct and try again.”

    Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

    I have tested MailChimp and don’t see any issues. So the only thing I can think of is that either your server is somehow interfering with the request to MailChimp or MailChimp’s firewall is blocking your requests. Their firewall can be quite strict sometimes so if your website is on a shared server it could explain it.

    Either way, there is nothing we can do from our end unfortunately 🙁

    Hi Alex,

    I have a Managed WordPress Basic Shared Hosting plan, indeed. I’ll dig more into this, thanks for heads up! Even so, if I’m just starting with my new website, a more expensive dedicated hosting plan would be needed at some point in order to connect any Emailing System (like Mailchimp) to my subscribe form plugins?

    Basically, the website will be just like a regular portofolio blog for my customers, with articles and some subscription forms. More than that, the plugin worked just fine for a week and my friends managed to sign up using the form connected to Mailchimp, and I have them on a list there.

    Do you suggest to either contact Mailchimp or GoDaddy regarding this issue?
