    Hello Dear Team,

    I am trying to create a newsletter for my website https://knownandlesserknowntemples.com. The form ID for this form is [mc4wp_form id=”763″].

    However this Mailchimp form page does not give me an option to enter any name. It only gives the option to enter an email address. Please click on the link below.

    When I am trying to subscribe from the form builder page it gives me an error. Please find the link to the error message below.

    Unfortunately, I am not well versed with API and I am new to Mailchimp. I have tried to generate the API a few times, disabled old API’s, followed few troubleshooting steps like deleting cache files, however, nothing works.

    The error logs are as follows.
    “[2020-03-18 12:02:17] ERROR: Form 763 > Mailchimp API error: 404 Not Found. Resource Not Found. The requested resource could not be found.
    Request: POST https://us19.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/lists/652395fb1e/members – {“status”:”subscribed”,”email_address”:”mang**********@gm***.com”,”interests”:{},”merge_fields”:{“FNAME”:”Vinay”},”email_type”:”html”,”ip_signup”:”49.205.222.170″,”tags”:[“The Knowledgeable Travellers – Newsletter”]}
    Response: 404 Not Found – {“type”:”http://developer.mailchimp.com/documentation/mailchimp/guides/error-glossary/”,”title”:”Resource Not Found”,”status”:404,”detail”:”The requested resource could not be found.”,”instance”:”

    I request you to kindly guide me as to how to get this issue resolved. Please help.

    Warm Regards,
    Vinay K

    Your website header is overlaying the form, that seems like a bug in your theme and I recommend you contact the theme developer about that.

    For now you can put a few empty lines or some text above the form so that you can reach both fields.

    For the error you see in the log, this usually means the list you selected for the form is no longer available or there is a problem with the specific email you are testing with.

    GO to MailChimp for WP > MailChimp page in your WordPress admin and click the “Renew MailChimp lists” button to pull in the latest data from MailChimp.

    Then go to MailChimp for WP > Form > Settings and make sure the correct list is selected.

    Finally test the form again with a fresh email that has never been subscribed to your lists / has not been deleted from the list earlier.

    Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
