Magpie RSS feeding

I created a page using the Magpie included with WP 1.5 to inlude RSS feeds on pages. It displays headlines from a few different news sources. Works reasonably well. The biggest problem is the items (at least from some feeds) are displayed out of chronological order. The same feeds display fine in regular RSS readers.

Any idea if there’s a way to solve this? Or am I better off ditching the built-in Magpie and installing the current version? Would that interfere with the built-in version used on the Dashboard page or anywhere else?
