# Magic quote mania

 * I’ve probably spent 5 hours collectively over the past week and a half trying
   to figure out how to solve a magic quotes issue.
 * All ‘ are replaced with slashes. I turned off magic quotes in php.ini but it 
   hasn’t solved the problem.
    I’m unable to create links in a menu because of this.
 * Came across 15 or so solutions but none of them have resolved this issue with
   WP 3.0.1
    Could it be the theme settings perhaps?
 * I’m at the end of my rope here..
