Support » Networking WordPress » Magazine Style theme and Site wide Tags?

  • Hello,
Thanks in advance,I am using sitwide tags with tribune theme. The theme is magazine style. Now the question is..
I installed multisite network on 3.01
I had tribune theme from wpzoom
The theme operaters on the function that you have to choose categories to display posts all over the theme.
Forexample at the top i need to choose feature category to display post there. Then choose News category to display news below that section.
Now After installing sitewide tags mu i had some problems.
1.After installing i don’t know what to do.i selected these options.
    Post to main blog checked.
    Limit 5000
But what do to after it i don’t know but i didn’t stops here.I go further and post an article on my subsite that and checked the main site the article never appears on the main site.
Please guide me what to do in this situation.

The sitewide tags plugin is supposed to pick up the posts from the subsites, so yes – going and making a post was the right thing to do.

Got a link to your site and one of the subsites? Was the subsite marked as public in the Privacy settings?

Andrea thanks But i want to know how the posts structured in the main blog .For example i have 10 subsites and i want to place the posts of 1 subsite at a specific portion on the main blog.Similarly any magazine style does.
You have to choose categories to display relevent posts at relevant sections on the main blog.
But i had not find anyway to display those posts.
Andrea if it is possible i can complete the whole structure of means i complete the whole installation and everything and you will just give it 2 mints to set the settings that are to display posts of different blogs at different sections on the main blog.
