I wanted to update my htaccess file and I usually use FTP and take care of it myself but there are always some risks. This plugin allows a syntax check before you save the changes and also automatically makes a backup.

It made the change I wanted to make easy-as. Somewhere in my WordPress dashboard I was able to modify that file but it’s hard to find and didn’t have a syntax check or auto-backup feature so I’m happy with the plugin.
