I’d recommend SubEthaEdit over TextWrangler any day.

Podz posted it because it was free. SubEthaEdit costs $35.

Incorrect. SubEthaEdit is free for non-profit users.

“SubEthaEdit was and is free for non-commercial use. This includes personal, educational or recreational use, like e.g. note-talking at conferences. If you want to support SubEthaEdit nevertheless we’d recommend buying a license or donating via Paypal. If you are not sure if you qualify for a non-commercial license, don’t hesitate to ask us.”

“If you want to use SubEthaEdit in a commercial context, you are required to purchase a license. Volume discount starts at three licenses! You will receive your serial number instantly after placing your order. You may evaluate the software for a reasonable timeframe with a non-commercial license before committing to buying a license.”
