Hey there jessymarco,
Sorry to hear that 🙁
Can you please describe what actually happens when you activate the plugin? If you’re getting a white screen that’s most likely due to a conflict with another plugin or possibly due to some limits set on your server.
Fastest way to fix this would be simply removing the plugin via FTP, you will be able to find it in /wp-content/plugins/coursepress.
If you’d like to troubleshoot this further we could definitely do that. This would include testing for conflicts. To do that you’d have to temporarily switch to one of the default WordPress themes and deactivate all other plugins, activate CoursePress and then activate them one by one to see which one is causing this.
Please let me know how that goes 🙂

BojanAfter installing MarketPresslite, site has gone just like a white screen
Hello jessymarco,
Like my colleague Bojan mentioned in the above thread, this looks like a conflict with another plugin. Have you tried the solution above, to delete the plugin from the plugins folder?
Is this solved the issue?
Please advise,
Cheers,
NastiaI have an 4.5.3 version of wordpress. MarketPress untested with this version…. Any other way for payment option?
Hello there essymarco,
I guess that you solved the issue you had before.
The MarketPress plugin is working well with the WordPress 4.5.3. I have it on my installtion and it’s running like a charm.
Any other way for payment option?
The payments gateway that you can you use with the lite version are:
- Manual Payments
- PayPal Express Checkout
- Simplify Commerce by MasterCard
However the MarketPress Pro version have over 16 built in payment gataways.
Let us know if you have any further questions!
Cheers,
NastiaNow enrollment process didn’t work…..again and again error came
This shows site cant be reached…… HTTp server error 500
Hello jessymarco,
The 500 error it is very general and can be a lot of things, It’s not clear to me, please let us know, did you checked for a conflict with another plugin like my colleague Bojan described above?
If you haven’t done the test, please deactivate all other plugins and test again
Now enrollment process didn’t work
On my test site the user registration went smoothly, with no errors.
Would you please enable WordPress debugging by putting the following to the wp-config.php file:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
Repeat users steps and try to register and enroll for a course. This way all errors will be saved in the debug.log file inside the /wp-content/ directory.
Let us know if you see any errors there.
Kind Regards,
Nastia
