Hi,
although you could do that with that extension (in a point and click sort of way)
i dont think this would be the most elegant solution in the frontend
let me think about this for a day or two please – am somewhat in the middle of a couple of other thungs
(and if i have not replied by monday , please feel free to chase me – thanks)
coming back to this…
….with the “timed menue” you would have to create the same menu item 2x with different prices and then set one to be available between x:00 and y:00 time and the other at all the other times, so you could do this that way, but I dont think that’s very elegent
personally I would probably go for this approach
https://docs.wp-pizza.com/developers/?section=change-prices-of-menu-items-depending-on-day-of-week
obviously using times instead of days in your case and limiting the script to menu items that are in a certain category

Hi Olly,
thanks for your reply. I chose the first option a few days ago, although it’s not an elegant solution.
The post you quoted is known, but my php is not good enough I must admit (I work with ruby).
Most important: it works, so never mind 😉

couldn’t agree more
