<?php session_start(); > causing errors in WP

  • Okay Guys, so I’m trying to add a tracker to my blog. But when I try to add it I run into the following error in my sidebar after i add “<?php session_start(); ?>” to the top of my header.

    “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/j/o/n/jonbracy/html/wp-includes/template-functions-category.php on line 321”

    Also the Archives disappear. Anyone got any ideas on how to keep the <?php session_start() ?>(for a tracker) and get the Archives and Categories links on the sidebar to work?

    I meet all the requirements and have PHP 4.3.11, a mySQL database, and WP version 2.0.3.
