• The French daily Le Monde uses WP as its platform for users (and journalists) blogs. It has severly restricted user freedom of usage, removing inoccuous tags, limiting style control via spans, etc.

    Now it has modified the way the theme editor works: they altered the form to use the GET method rather than POST as used in the WP distribution. As a result, the contents are appended to the URL, truncated to 2048 characters and break the whole process.

    I wonder how far they’ll go. Are there no restrictions on how much WP can be altered and still keep its name?
