<!–nextpage–> cut down pagination

  • Hey guys/gals I got a few posts on my blog which go over a few pages using the <!–nextpage–> tag. Now these can sometimes spread over 9 pages. I was wondering if anyone knew how to achieve cut down pagination for this so instead of

    pages: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

    I would like

    pages: 1 2 3.. 8 9 next>> or something similar.

    Thanks

  • I don’t have a solution for you I’m afraid but I gotta admit that I cast a vote for leaving it the way it is. I know it’s your blog and don’t have an issue with that but I know I find myself going back and forth when I read multi page articles like that.

Yeah I agree with you I do the same. But I see the pages getting much larger in the future. The biggest one at the moment is 9. Its increasing pretty fast so if it get to 50 pages long the list of numbers would be huge. I think I will have to find someway to cut it down.

    Thanks for the reply

    Anyone have any ideas?

Let me your URL link I would like to see what you think =D…

have you tried “paginate” plugin ?
