<!–more–> not applying to posts – showing entire article.

I used “pageofposts.php” to use as a template for this page so only certain posts show up here.

I don’t want the entire article showing, just a few lines and I added the “<!–more–>” quick tag (as instructed here) and it’s not applying to this page of the free reports…. It still shows the entire articles…?

Any advice?
