    Hello,

I see that the lowest update frequency is 1 hour.
I was wondering if it was possible to lower the update frequency, to 1 minute.

  • Dear @boyansharic thanks for your interest in our plugin. Currently, we do not offer update frequency lower than 1 hour. This is realistic with the purpose of this plugin. Reducing it to one minute may appear like spam. We may reduce this to 10 minutes or 30 minutes but there is no plan to reduce it to 1 minute at this point. Hope you understood the point.

I found “_frequency” meta_key in postmeta table and if I lower it to 60 from the default 3600, it shows “Every 0.016666666666667 Hour(s)” on “All campaigns” view, which is great but it has no effect on the actual update frequency.

Could you just, please, point me out on how to lower update frequency. I assure you it is not for spam but for legitimate reasons.

Dear @boyansharic we did not completely check it. Here is the function file that runs campaigns and here is the cron file responsible for schedules. You can also take the help of this plugin. Hope you will be able to reach your desired goal. Thank you.

    Thank you for your answer.
I’ve seen wp-content-pilot/includes/core/class-cron.php but it seams to me that it’s already set up to run every 60 seconds. Am I missing something? Could you, please, point me out in the right direction?

I don’t need WP Crontrol because I can set up cron directly on the server.

    Dear @boyansharic,
You are right the frequency is currently set to run at every 60 seconds. You have not missed anything. If you are able to set up cron directly on the server then it should run properly otherwise we cannot offer anything at this moment. We are rewriting this plugin and you have to wait for the update to arrive.

I’m sorry, can you explain it to me again.

I should set frequency on every hour and set my WordPress cron on every minute and campaign will run every minute?

    Dear @boyansharic,
You already know that there is no option to set the frequency lower than one hour from the options that we offer. Setting the cron to run in every minute should produce your desired output. Otherwise, you have to wait for the update to arrive. Thanks a lot.
