# Lower case dates?

 * How would I make the months on my dates lowercase?
    this is what it is now: the_date(“
   F j, Y”); and I would like the months to always be in lowercase form. thanks!

 * I think Matt’s got the better idea. I’m not so sure that php outputs in lowercase.
   
   The text-tranformation is what I did on derekwebb.net’s install. GFM
