 * Hi
 * First off thank you for this plugin, it is excellent.
 * Unfortunately I have two sites which both have a very low CF cache rate at ~40%
   over 30 days.
 * Both sites use WP Rocket and I have followed all of your FAQ steps to disable
   WP Rocket’s caching. I have also in WPR’s settings disabled the separate mobile
   cache, caching for logged in users and set the cache lifespan to 0 (unlimited).
 * However, when I look at the debug.log I am still seeing events like this happening
   daily, or sometimes twice a day:
 * [2022-12-20 09:43:28] [cache_controller::wp_rocket_hooks] Purge whole Cloudflare
   cache (fired action: after_rocket_clean_files)
 * [2022-12-20 09:43:28] [cache_controller::wp_rocket_hooks] Purge whole Cloudflare
   cache (fired action: after_rocket_clean_post)
 * So it looks like WP Rocket is still the culprit for the low CF cache rate.
 * I could go into your plugin’s third-party integration settings and disable that
   it listens for WP Rocket cache flushes…but is that a good idea?
 * Because I do still use WP Rocket for file optimizations like minification, critical
   path CSS and delaying JavaScript execution.
 * What are your thoughts?

   You are abosoluetely right. WP Rocket purge cache left and right a lot. I would
   suggest you to use some other plugin which are bettter and made for these jobs
   only. You can defiantely try using Perfmatter as well as Autoptimize.
 * Perfmatter is a paid plugin, but it is worth every penny. Also it is not a caching
   plugin, but static file and other optimization plugin. So, it plays well with
   caching systems.
 * Also as you have not shared your site URL I could not check the response header
   to see if everything is working as they should.

 * Sorry, the URLs are: [https://www.namibiaexperience.com](https://www.namibiaexperience.com)
   and [https://www.botswana-experience.com/](https://www.botswana-experience.com/)
 * I know of Perfmatters and AO, but I have put many hours of work into optimizing
   these sites with WP Rocket and Asset Cleanup Pro, so in order to not to have
   to redo all of that (and pay for more plugins) I’ll first try and get it to somehow
   work better with the current setup.
 * So I am guessing my only way of achieving that will be to go into your plugin’s
   WP Rocket settings and tell it to stop listening for WP Rocket’s cache flushes
   altogether.
 * I’m using your plugin for fallback page caching so I hope that things will just
   work. Or do you foresee any problems?

 * Hi [@gnuworld](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gnuworld/),
   As I can see,
   Cloudflare CDN caching is working perfectly for both sites.
 * “So I am guessing my only way of achieving that will be to go into your plugin’s
   WP Rocket settings and tell it to stop listening for WP Rocket’s cache flushes
   altogether.”
   – Yes. That’s the only way. But see if doing that your site changes
   gets updated/purged from cache.
 * “I’m using your plugin for fallback page caching so I hope that things will just
   work. Or do you foresee any problems?”
   – No I am not seeing any problems here.

 * OK thanks, I’ll try that and see how it goes.
