Hi @websitedoctor, thank you for taking the time to write us a review.
We apologize for the repeating review notifications. We are currently looking into this and working to keep our customers happy. We appreciate your positive feedback on Pretty Links’ great functionality!
So you posted your response 4 weeks ago saying that you are “currently looking into this”. But i’m still also getting these pesky notifications.
I agree with the website doctor, and also left a 1-star review for the very poor experience it creates. It should be (probably is…) against WP policies for solliciting feedback in the WP dashboard.
Are you doing anything about this problem? For me it’s even worse. That message “Are you enjoying using Pretty Links?” shows all the time and there’s nothing I can do about it. Clicking either Yes or No does nothing. Clicking the X button makes it disappear only until I do something like refresh a page in my WordPress CMS or go to another page in it. It’s driving me crazy, using up key real estate at the top there in a big fat bar all the time.
Hello @websitedoctor, @nmottet, and @neiljf. We understand your frustrations with the recurring review notification popup, and we offer our sincerest apologies. We do, however, want to give you an update on the issue.
We have discovered that the constant notification is due to the site’s “aggressive caching” settings. Soon, we hope to test different methods to limit this issue.
Again, thank you for using our Pretty Links plugin and taking the time to note your concerns.
Don’t click the “X”. Make sure you click “I already did” or “Give feedback”. Clicking the other options or nothing will make it reappear after a week.
