• I only use gallery plugins that work with the native WordPress Media Gallery. It makes switching plugins easy just in case one becomes incompatible or outdated.

Responsive Gallery Grid looks good, works great and it’s easy to customize the shortcode.

    The Pros:
    1. Uses the gallery shortcode
    2. Nice masonry tile layouts
    3. Good customization options with shortcode
    4. Fast loading

    The Cons:
    1. No captions
    2. Ugly loading
    3. Takes over gallery shortcode

By reading the instruction I see it’s possible to use the native WordPress gallery with [gallery type="native"], but I still would like to use another plugin that uses the [“gallery plugin name” id=”123″] feature.
