I’m receiving a lot of different errors using this plugin, but I think this is exactly what I need for a specific solution. When I save a present I get this error:

    Hi,

    I got the same.
In fact when you change options or add a new definition the “pseudo pre-compiler” treats all the definitions of presets and there are errors inside (may be not updated ? test of functions never ended etc.? no time for me to check this).
I told this here, may be five month ago, without any answer of the author.

I cannot explain details here (too long) : you have there (into the trace) the parameters generated from all the presets definitions and which are saved into database (json data) but into the list produced the definitions are mixed with the error messages (invalid syntax), it is exactly like you were doing syntax errors into your own parameters, doesn’t matter :
What is important is that the preset that you will use doesn’t generate errors. That’s all.

You must study, understand presets save your own presets which must not generate errors and then test your presets by calling them.

Note : for my own I changed my mind and uses now : W4 Post List which is a little more complex (need to define templates and styles) but answers well to my needs even I have asked for some enhancements.

    Trebly-

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried out the W4 Post List plugin and it seems to work well. It looks like it’s missing the ability to filter out the posts you’re listing by the existing taxonomy, like this module is supposed to do, but oh well. Thanks!

It looks like it’s missing the ability to filter out the posts you’re listing by the existing taxonomy

Normally when you define a report you have the selection on taxonomy with functions for multiple selection (or or and with several criteria and the use of dependency functions). The sorting is defined into the template.

Very important : For all of this look at the examples there are many

    Best regards
