 * Hi all.
 * For some reason the post serving as my homepage is missing in the control panel,
   I cannot find it anywhere, but it is still showing on the homepage itself?
 * Anyone know about this problem?
 * Many thanks,
    Glynn

 * Posts are not pages, look in pages.

 * Thanks for the insight, but I do actually realise that posts aren’t pages, It
   isn’t a page. Anyone else got a useful answer please.
 * Thanks

 * A post cannot be the front page, site link and name of theme?

 * What are you talking about? By default, WordPress shows your most recent Posts
   on the front page of your site. It even states this word-for-word in the Codex?
   I am going to create it as a static page instead, as the posts seem to have a
   tendency to go missing.
 * You need to do some more reading-up before you start giving “snappy” advice to
   other people.

 * The keyword there is “Posts” (plural) – not “Post” (singular). The request for
   the site’s url & theme was a valid one. If you want us to help you, then you
   need to help us by providing the information requested instead of posting “snappy”
   responses.

 * Who are you? And who is “us” exactly? Can’t SwansonPhotos speak for himself?
   Why are you stating the “Posts” (plural) – not “Post” (singular) thing? What
   difference does that make? A post is displayed one at a time which can be used
   as a homepage, who cares if more can be displayed or not? Why are you using my
   own descriptions ie. “snappy” back at me, don’t you have some of your own? I
   am only responding to an already negative response.
 * I don’t think I will bother with this anymore if all I’m going to get back is
   condescending, unhelpful responses from you (“us”) whatever…
 * Don’t bother writing anything back, I don’t even have the time!
