I have seen that on other websites that I have the plugin installed, the configuration panel is in Spanish, the site’s default language, but not on this website, I have deactivated and deleted the plugin and I have reinstalled it and it is installed in English Instead of in Spanish, could the problem have to do with this? How can I get it to be installed in Spanish? What is the language in which I have configured the site?
I have already detected the problem, if I deactivate the WPML string translation plugin, everything is solved, the Complianz plugin is in Spanish again and the pages are all in their respective language …
How should I proceed then?
Possibly the strings in the wpml string translation plug-in are registered the wrong way around, e.g Spanish is stored as being English.
I would try to clear/delete the translations from the string translation plug-in. Then re-save the complianz settings to register each string again.
I will try it, what I do not understand is why Complianz is seen in English, when in all the other websites that I have it is seen in Spanish, could that have to do with the chains?
Hi @mandingabcn
The WordPress Site Language determines in what language the plugin descriptions will be displayed. The way in which string translation is setup in WPML could also influence this. I advise trying Rogier’s suggestion above, to see if this changes anything. Otherwise, you would need WPML support.
Thanks,
Jarno
Comlianz generates a shortcode for me, from wpml they tell me that I should have a different plugin for each page. how do I do that?
WPML support have already fixed it. Thanks anyway.
