Hello, I have updated the plugin and the Catalan translation of the Cookies page has disappeared and now they are shown in English. How can I solve that? Thank you very much.

    Hi @mandingabcn,

Complianz is still available in Catalan. Did you change your WordPress default language between versions or change anything in your configuration?

Please try updating the translation files in the WordPress Dashboard -> Updates -> Translations.

    Let me know,

    regards Aert

    Hi @mandingabcn,

Did you try the suggested instructions already? Most likely updating the translation files will solve the issue.

Please let us know if you need further assistance or if we can mark this thread as resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

Yes, I have everything updated, but it continues to be seen in English instead of Catalan.
    What else can I do?
    Thank you.

I have tried to delete all the pages in all languages and I have recreated the page in Spanish, but I only create it in English …

    Hi @mandingabcn,

    Sorry to hear that.

Could you share your site link, so I can have a look at it?

    Thanks,
    Jarno

    You mean the public page?

Yes, a link to one of the legal documents generated by Complianz. This could give me an idea as to what the cause of this issue could be.

If you would rather not place a link to your site here, please contact us by submitting a ticket here: complianz.io/support/

    Thanks,

    Hi again @mandingabcn,

Do you use the Free or Premium version of Complianz?

If you are a Premium user, please contact us at support@complianz.io.

For the Free version, please go to Dashboard > Updates and click the button “Update translations”. If the WordPress Language is set to Catalan, this should automatically translate your legal documents. If this does not automatically happen, you can re-generate your legal documents in the Wizard (Documents > Update pages).

Keep in mind that Catalan has not been 100% translated yet, and it might be necessary to translate some strings yourself. To see which strings are yet to be translated, please visit: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/complianz-gdpr/dev/ca/default/

    Hope this helps,
    Jarno

I’ve already done all those steps and it doesn’t work, I have the free version.

My wordpress is in Spanish, but now, when I update the cookies, I see both pages in English, both the Spanish and the Catalan …

It must be something from the plugin configuration …

In this case, I would advise using a translation plugin to translate all your legal documents to the preferred language. Complianz supports some of the most popular translation plugins on WordPress (WPML/PolyLang).

Please view our in-depth guide on how to translate Complianz pages & documents with the help of several plugins here: https://complianz.io/how-to-translate-legal-documents-to-your-own-language/

    Hope this helps,
    Jarno

I will try to be a little clearer.

I already use the paid version of the WPML plugin and everything worked perfectly until a few days ago, when suddenly the Catalan translation automatically generated by Complianz stopped working and began to display in English.

I have spoken with the WPML support and they assure me that it is a problem of the Complianz plugin configuration, that the WPML plugin works perfectly and does the translations well, in fact from the strings I can translate everything manually, but it is not the idea.

How else can you help me?

Does each language have a different shortcode?
