Lost Ticker Format, No Longer Scrolling

    WordPress 4.5.2 running Avada theme.

    I have Ditty Ticker displaying RSS Feeds using scroll left display. It’s working properly Here as you can see, it’s located just below the layer slider image. This is hosted on godaddy account.

    I have identical site hosted on bitnami, and everything was working fine up until this morning. The ticker scroll format was destroyed, and the content is displayed in a vertical list. See here

    I tried to delete Ditty Ticker plugin and then re-install, but I received the following error
    “Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) ditty-news-ticker/ditty-news-ticker.php.”

    Any help/guidance is much appreciated

    I’m getting a 404 error page on the second site when I try to view it.

    The error when trying to delete sounds like a file permissions/server error. You’ll probably need to use your FTP client and manually delete the files.

    Please install the ticker again and let me know when it’s back up online to view. There is most likely a javascript error on the second site that is causing the ticker to not work correctly.

    I ended up getting several other display errors.

    I deactivated WP Super Cache and that resolved everything.

    WP Super Cache is active on 1 server and working fine, but on bitnami WP Super Cache is causing errors. Once deactived everything was Ok.

    I’ll mark as resolved and look into WP Super Cache. I was having a lot of file permission problems with bitnami
