lost theme

Hi all
I’m new to WordPress and have already dropped a clanger.
I purchased the Genesis Framework and downloaded both it and the lifestyle theme to my harddrive.
When I attempted to upload it to WP I uploaded the Lifestyle theme first and it cane up with the following

Installing the theme…

This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed…

The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, genesis, before you can use this child theme.

Theme installed successfully.”

I then installed the Genesis theme, which is showing fine, but can’t find the Lifestyle child theme. I haven’t a clue where to look. Any ideas.
